Making good decisions about technology and learning

University Learning Technology Advisors (ULTA) is a group of faculty and staff from across the University of Minnesota system that use a formal process and framework to receive, research, review and approve potential technologies and projects. This process is designed to help ensure the University makes good decisions about the implementation and use of system-wide academic technology. The group is responsible for advising on projects such as:

  • Academic technology pilots
  • Academic technology evaluations
  • Prioritization of enhancements to existing academic technologies
  • Changes of scope or scale for current implementations of academic technologies
